WHAT IF I DON’T WEAR HIJAB – MUSLIM SISTER ASKS
WHAT IF I DON’T WEAR HIJAB ? QUESTION:- We are aware of hijab – covering of woman’s face and hair. Some of my friends do not cover their hair and there is an argument that if they tie their hair rather than keep it open, the degree of the sin (gunah) is smaller? Also keeping […]

Seven of the most Destructive Sins
“Avoid the seven deadly sins that doom one to Hell…”
“…Associating others with Allah (Shirk), magic, killing a soul whom Allah has forbidden killing, consuming Interest (Riba), consuming the property of orphans, fleeing on the day of the march (to the battlefield), and slandering chaste women… ”

HALLOWEEN IS HARAAM !
According to the Celt legend, if a person wears a mask or disguises his face, he won’t be noticed by the evil spirit that roams the land, as the ghost or a spirit cannot see their own reflection. So if a person is to meet a demon, the demon would not harm him considering him to be one of the equally horrible demons.
IT IS NOT PERMISSIBLE TO PROSTRATE TO ANYONE OTHER THAN ALLAH
In the early days of Islam, when some of them saw that the People of the Book prostrated to their bishops and patriarchs, they thought that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was more deserving of that, out of respect for him and veneration of him. But the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade them to prostrate to him.
JESUS (AS) WAS NOT CRUCIFIED, IT WAS MADE TO APPEAR SO!
‘When people asked Jesus Christ (peace be upon him)… ‘Show me a sign, show me a miracle’. Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), says… ‘You evil and adulteration’s generation, seeketh after a sign, no sign shall be given to you, but the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah was 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the whale, so shall the son of man be 3 days and 3 nights, in the heart of the earth’ – Sign of Jonah.
CONCEPT OF GOD IN CHRISTIANITY
One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed that he is God.
Charity: Spend in the cause of ALLAH
❝The servant says: ‘My Wealth! My Wealth!’ While he only possesses from his wealth three things, that which he has eaten and so it is consumed, or that which he has worn [from garment] and it is worn out, and that which he has given [in sadaqah] and so he has stored it away [i.e. for his hereafter].❞
[Sahih Muslim, 2958 a]
Hijaab should be loose not tight
The purpose of clothing is to prevent fitnah (temptation), and this can only be achieved if clothes are wide and loose (hijaab). Tight clothes, even if they conceal the colour of the skin, still describe the size and shape of the body or part of it, and create a vivid image in the minds of men. The corruption or invitation to corruption that is inherent in that is quite obvious. So the clothes must be wide.
